What size is the gate?
Our ready-made matching composite gate is supplied as: 1800mm high and widths from 800mm wide to 1200mm wide. This is the size of the gate leaf itself. When measuring your opening, you need to allow extra space (30mm) for the hinges, lock keep/latch and adjustment. As a guide, a 900mm wide gate typically needs an opening of approximately 930mm.
Can I choose a black or grey frame?
Yes. Deano’s matching composite gates are available with either a black or grey aluminium frame.
What colours are available?
Our gates are available in nine colour options designed to coordinate with popular Classic and Premium composite fencing colours. CLASSIC COLOURS: Classic Stone, Classic Ash, Classic Graphite, Classic Savanna, Classic Amber / Amber Teak and Classic Mocha. PREMIUM COLOURS: Premium Pearl, Premium Walnut and Premium Anthracite.
And a choice of either a black or grey aluminium frame.
Is the gate made using Dino boards?
Yes. Our gates are made using Dino Decking fencing boards as the composite infill, fitted into a black or grey aluminium gate frame with a centre bar. This helps the finished gate coordinate with popular Classic and Premium fencing, decking, balustrade and cladding colours.
Does the gate arrive fully assembled?
Yes. Your gate arrives fully assembled in your chosen colour. There is no gate frame to build and no separate gate kit to assemble. The composite boards are already fitted into the black or grey aluminium frame.
What is included with the gate?
Each gate includes: black or grey aluminium frame, horizontal composite infill boards, centre bar, hinges, handles, Euro lock, 3 keys and full-height lock keep. Posts, fencing and installation are not included.
Can the gate be fitted to a Dino black aluminium fencing post?
Yes. The gate can be fitted to a suitable wall, existing post, or Dino Decking black aluminium fencing post. The supplied lock keep/latch is designed to fit into the slot/channel of Dino Decking black aluminium posts, helping the gate integrate neatly with the fencing system.
Is the gate easy to install?
The gate is supplied ready-made and only needs hanging and latching. A competent DIYer or tradesperson should be able to install it.

How long does delivery take?
Each gate is made to order in your selected colour and choice of black or grey aluminium frame. Delivery is normally within 21 days.
Is delivery included?
Yes. Mainland UK delivery is included in the price. Our gates are delivered by our own delivery team. Because the gates are ready-made and supplied in a finished frame, we handle delivery carefully to help protect the gate from damage in transit. Highlands, islands, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and overseas deliveries are available by special enquiry.
Can I return the gate?
You have the right to cancel your online order within 14 days of delivery. The gate must be returned unused, unfitted, undamaged and in suitable protective packaging. Because this is a large ready-made item, you are responsible for arranging and covering return delivery unless the gate is faulty or damaged on arrival. Please see the Cancellation, Returns & Refund Policy section on the product page before ordering.
What warranty comes with the gate?
Our gates include a 10-Year Warranty. The full warranty breakdown is shown in the Warranty section on the product page.
What if my gate is damaged on delivery?
Please inspect your gate when it is delivered. Because our gates are delivered by our own delivery team, any visible damage or delivery issue should be reported to the driver before the delivery is completed. If there is a visible problem on delivery, our driver will record the issue and the gate may be returned with the driver. We will then arrange a replacement gate or refund, depending on the situation.
Can I order a gate to match my Dino decking?
Yes. Our gates are made in 9 Dino colours, so they are suitable for customers who want a garden gate, side gate or access gate to match their Dino decking.
Can I order a gate to match Dino cladding?
Yes. If you have used Dino cladding and want a gate in a matching colour, you can choose from our 9 Dino colour options.
Can I order a gate to match Dino balustrades?
Yes. Our gates can be used to help tie together outdoor spaces that include Dino balustrades, decking, fencing or cladding.
Are Deano’s Gates endorsed by Dino Decking?
No. Deano’s Gates is not warrantied, endorsed by or officially connected with Dino Decking. Our gates are made to match Dino colours and are designed as a ready-made gate solution for customers who want their outdoor space to match.
Why does a Deano’s Dino gate cost more than some generic composite gates?
Because they are not the same product. A generic composite gate is an off-the-shelf product built around its own black or anthracite infill. Its aluminium frame is designed specifically for those boards. Genuine Dino fencing boards do not fit that frame, and the generic gate cannot be converted into a Deano’s Dino-infill gate. Every Deano’s gate is custom-built to order. We manufacture the aluminium frame to your selected width specifically for genuine Dino fencing boards, then fit the selected Dino infill, install the hardware, assemble, adjust and quality-check the completed gate before delivering it ready to hang. Even if you compare the cost of a generic gate, a separate Dino fence panel and suitable hardware, the combined cost can already exceed the price of a completed Deano’s gate — and the two products would still not be interchangeable. Can I order a custom size?
Not currently. But our gates are available in variety of sizes; 1800mm high and widths from 850mm wide to 1200mm wide.
